With the "peep" mounted, the old Sako is lighter than many 22 rimfire rifles. The vendor pulled an odd looking receiver sight out of a box and said that it was what I wanted, and explained how it clamped onto the rear dovetail of the receiver. Got into a conversation with a used sight vendor about how my rifle had a hooded front sight but no visible signs of ever having a rear sight mounted.
